This week, the Florida House introduced its annual package of proposed tax legislation. The package will likely factor heavily in legislators’ negotiations around this year’s budget proposal. FICPA’s Governmental Affairs team has an update on the tax package along with the rest of the bills making their way through the legislative process.

A pair of sales-tax “holidays” for storm preparation and back-to-school shopping and a tax cut on commercial leases dominated a package that advanced Thursday out of a key House committee.
